Baraka Joy Education Center ~ A Rural School Destined for Improvements

Baraka Joy Education Center is a small rural school outside of Ngong, Kenya. At this time it teaches nursery age children through 3rd grade at this facility. The older classes are sent to other schools for now. Just beyond the property is a piece of land that has been secured for future building of a complete school through the 8th grade. HFLW hopes for funds to build the new school but until then volunteers will be assisting the teachers with daily activities.

Tusemezane Day Care - Our greatest challenge, our greatest need!

Tusemezane Day Care located in Ngong, Kenya is a day care begun by a woman that knew the children needed more to life than living in the slums. Adjacent to a slum area of Ngong, Tusemezane has at any given time 300 children that attend. Parents send their children to the day care to receive a free meal daily. HFLW has chosen this day care because of its great need.

Dream Home ~ a Childrens Haven

Dream Childrens Home sits high on a hill in the beautiful Ngong hills. It is a small orphanage, housing approximately 20-30 children most times. The children here are true orphans. There is no extended family or relatives to care for them. Dream Home has a wonderful garden area offering some of the necessary foods needed to sustain the orphanage. Dream Home is one of our programs where volunteers are needed and welcomed!

St. Pauls Childrens Care Center Embul-bul, Kenya

Located in Embul-bul, Kenya St. Pauls is a well established childrens home. The home cares for approximately 60-70 children year round. It has its own day school for pre-school to 8th grade level of students. St. Pauls has learned to be self-sustaining for the most part, with a large garden, livestock, sale of water from their own bore hole well, a place to grind corn, and now the Library and Computer Learning Center.
